But come November 24th, here's an idea you might try to make the day extra-special. It's a one-word idea: Kilts. Think about it -- if you're a male, and you want to bollix-up the nonsensical airport security-industrial complex, one way to do so would be to wear a kilt. If nothing else, this will cause TSA employees to throw up their hands in disgust. If you want to go the extra extra mile, I suggest commando-style kilt-wearing. While it is probably illegal to fly without pants, I can't imagine that it's illegal to fly without underpants.

Unfortunately, I have to fly this Christmas. I really don't think I'm going to make it out of the airport without being arrested this time.
We should make Nov. 23rd “Eat Gas Forming Foods Before You Fly” day.
It seemed like a good idea... until you were locked on a plane for 3 hours with 250 people who followed your advice.

It would be worth it to make TSA’s job miserable with people farting in their face for at least one day. I’d just put a little Noxema or Mentholatum under my nose for the flight.
My point was, what would YOU think if a group of Muslims, using the internet, was planning to shut down all air traffic until their demands were met.
Would you, or other reasonable people, think that such an expensive economic shutdown was terrorism?
Would a member of the press decide it was terrorism, and report it as such if a group of people shut down the security gates somewhere? And point blame at what ever group organized it and whatever website they used to set it up?
And you know the Amish would get blamed here, right after FBI declared it was not terrorism. Though, if it was a froup of citizens opposed to Obama’s and Napolitano’s plans, WOULD FBI say it was not terrorism?
I’m not too worried- the buy-in to this protest is that you must have a ticket.
That’s not my point.
I already do this.
you too?
Thank you for clearing that up. It pisses me off when folks call it “commando” too. I wear my Campbell Argyll regimental. It’s the oooooooooooooooonly way to fly. Too bad I can’t get away with my sgian dubh or my dirk.
Campbell Argyll, or MacLaren. I can wear either. When I want to slum, I wear a Utilikilt. Been doing it for years. Have always had some interesting conversations.
How about wearing a jockstrap with an athletic cup underneath your pants. Are they going to make you take it off?
“Have you been on Mars or something. The government has decided that it can do anything without there being any consequences. “
What was I thinking?
I hate to say it because it sounds bad, but I think anything hard might get you a second look.
It'll get you a second look but are they willing to remove it themselves when you refuse? I'm sure you won't get on your plane but the point is to create chaos and delay on Opt-Out Day.
lol. When shall I start production on that design?
I bet they’d just say you can’t get on the plane unless you take it off. If they took it off against your consent that would just about have to be sexual assualt, wouldn’t it? If a person insisted on having the pat-down done in public it could get interesting. lol
Who’d have thought that a scene from Spinal Tap would be so prophetic? lol
