SOUTH HADLEY – The Menard brothers don’t look at themselves as the best players on the South Hadley High School field hockey team, nor do they look at themselves as two of the best players in Western Massachusetts.

It would be great to see what would happen should they choose to pursue a field hockey college scholarship.
It would be OUTSTANDING for them to pursue scholarships.
They could apply to ten schools - and have ten ready made lawsuits ready to go!
I am sure the NCAA has already thought this one through.
I have seen a woman place kicker on a DIII football team. The year before she was the soccer goalie for the womens team, and she scored a goal by kicking it from the goal line, it hit once in front of the other goalie, and then over her head and into the goal. She could boot a football further than any man in the conference.
That said, as one of the girls on the recently beaten team said to my daughter, “I would rather take a bubble bath with my father than play field hockey with boys on the team.”
I thought that was funny.
And yes, most men would want to bubble bath with this young lady. Not me, that would be creepy.
