Why isn’t there a bipartisan, full court press (sorry about the basketball analogy) on the birth certificate issue? That’s the simplest and fastest way out of this mess.
I think that is likely. With Republicans in control of the House, we have people with “standing” who can demand that his eligibility for the job be ascertained. Personally, I don’t think the Democrats will fight this very hard. He’s a liability.
