But can I play the songs backwards on an iPod? Didn’t think so. I’m stickin’ to rekkids. Old vinyl rekkids.
To: re_tail20
Does that twit Yoko Ono get anything from the sale of these songs? If so, count me OUT!

Apple iTunes, at Long Last, Gets Rights to BeatlesThat is the day that we will never forget? I have already forgotten it.
Streaming music from the cloud would be a better announcement.
To: re_tail20
Apple Inc. is preparing to announce that its iTunes Store will soon start carrying music by the Beatles, according to people familiar with the situation, a move that would fill in a glaring gap in the collection of the world's largest music retailer.
Anyone who wants Beatles music on their iPods/iPhones already has it. The only real story is how much revenue the Beatles rights-owners have lost by taking so long.

YAWN...I ripped my Beatles catalog to MP3 many, many moons ago from CDs I either already owned or borrowed from the library. Would have happily purchased legal MP3s from the Apple store from albums I didn’t already own had they been available but alas, those elusive Beatles were too late to the party.

Rumors have it that Apple Inc. and Apple Corps may have finally buried the hatchet in something other than each other... PING! Perhaps that is what this is all about:
Please No Flame Wars!
Discuss technical issues, software, and hardware.
Don't attack people!
Don't respond to the Anti-Apple Thread Trolls!
PLEASE IGNORE THEM!!!
Apple perhaps more than just rumors Ping!

Senior citizens who remember the Beetles are already lining up in front of the iTunes store downtown.

Real geniuses, these people who hold the Beatles rights. Their refusal to grant the rights to download LEGALLY for so long means that people have been downloading them for FREE for the past 10 years.
Way to move into the 21st century dudes!
