In a joint appearance on Fox News with Geraldine Ferarro on Election Night 2010, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin called those who believe mothers should stay at home with their children “Neanderthals.” She said: “There are still the Neanderthals out there, who pick on the petty little superficial meaningless things like looks, like whether you can or can’t work outside of the home if you have small children. Ferarro and Palin were the first women to run as US Vice Presidential running mates (Ferraro for Walter Mondale in 1984 and Palin for John McCain in 2008), and the Fox News discussion focused on how women have broken through many former barriers. What was NOT discussed was the Bible’s teaching on the woman’s role in this present world.

I read that different than her calling stay at home mom’s neanderthals.
