I was one of those who "shot back". I'll admit that the "reality" part of the show is a surprise to me, but it's a full eight episodes. There'll be plenty of documentary aspects to it, before it's all over.
The pre-release buzz had a lot of commentary about the fact that Sarah would be showing her state to the country, and that that would be the central focus of the series.
Expect for Sarah to explore the greatness of Alaska, while simultaneously making herself better known to America. The lady always exceeds expectations.
