SAN DIEGO John Tyner won't be pheasant hunting in South Dakota with his father-in-law any time soon.
Tyner was simultaneously thrown out of San Diego International Airport on Saturday morning for refusing to submit to a security check and threatened with a civil suit and $10,000 fine if he left.
And he got the whole thing on his cell phone. Well, the audio at least.
The 31-year-old Oceanside software programmer was supposed to leave from Lindbergh Field on Saturday morning and until a TSA agent directed him toward one of the recently installed full-body scanners, Tyner seemed to be on his way.

“By buying your ticket you gave up a lot of rights,” countered the TSA supervisor.
It’s been a long time since I’ve read a scarier statement
It’s always been about you, right?
So it is supposed to be official conservative policy to accept some minor airport security, now? Sorry, I’m not a paranoiac. It’s still past 9/10 as far as I’m concerned.
I like these nutjob threads. They’re sport for a few minutes.
“Im ecstatic that this nutjob wont be flying anymore and possibly delaying my flight.”
......oh gosh, wouldn’t want anyone to delay YOUR flight. Yours is obviously the most important itinerary of all. Get over yourself, bucko.
Thumbsuckers belong under the bed.
What would Patton do with a guy feeling some other guys crotch just for the heck of it?
I travel A LOT. TSA security is a feel good exercise meant to sell airplane tickets. Anyone with intent could certainly smuggle just about anything on a plane. They MIGHT be stopped about 30% of the time.
Nobody is going to hijack another plane with a boxcutter.
You love being toasted by x-rays and felt up. Do you estatically bring along your wife and children for a family toasting and molestation session? Let’s see the family naked portraits!
Here’s another one.
I hope that that SOB gets the full weight of the law.
Cretin.
Captain Hyperbole is your spouse?
US Customs people are even worse.
Can't tell you when, but it'll be buried deep inside a huge bill, totally unrelated to security. Like an anthropology grant or something.
I posted this same article a few minutes ago, not having found it by searching FR. My clever comment was deleted by the big FR cheese, even after I forwarded the link to some friends who will think me goofy. Anyway, the gist of my post was “If you want to feel mine, can I feel yours?” I hope this guy gets a lot of support from the people...you know...power to the people...dump Nappy, etc. BTW...HuffPost dumps me sometimes, too.
Full weight of the law? He didn’t break any laws.
Paranoids:
1. truthers
2. robo-signer phobiacs.
3. contrail exaggerators
4. airport security rebels
