No, gay insurgency, abortion, the dissolution of marriage, tearing down crosses in the desert, are the symptoms of the destruction of our republic.

All of these have one thing in common, they are all encouraged and almost totally financed by our government. The fastest way to stop ALL of those utterly evil activities, is to completely starve the government of cash.

One small example, the cross in the desert. The group that sues in such a scenario under current law has their legal bills PAID by the Us gov’t. Same with the ten commandment cases,,etc.

A HARSH stop to the financial recklessness of the government is the only way to stop ALL of the madness.

And that may be the point that several FReepers, including some who are no longer with us, were trying to make. Unless we take a Sawzall to the budget we will continue to fight our own money. If we can get everyone to agree to cut the size of government the social/ethical issues become much simpler.

Maybe a better idea would be to start enforcing FRAUD laws; and prosecuting those INDIVIDUALS whose sociopathologically oriented moral compass led them to Lie about their incomes on mortgage applications - along with those individuals who assisted them in doing so - creating and gaming a systemicaly corrupted and demoralized society, for the fleecing, in the process?
