Sure, there will be the usual critics who still wont understand why we would document the natural resources and uniqueness of the Last Frontier, though in doing this I am keeping my promise to fellow Alaskans that I would do all I could to support and promote Alaska. My answer to those naysayers is the reminder my daughter Bristol offered when she was blessed with the opportunity to participate on Dances with the Stars. I cautioned Bristol about all the criticism shed no doubt encounter. Bristol told me, Mom, theyre going to criticize me no matter what I do, so I might as well dance! Yes, theyll criticize us no matter what, so I might as well climb and fly and trek and build and hunt and fish and share with you the awe-inspiring beauty of Alaska...and because I wanted my family along for the ride, I want your family to come along, too. Follow me there!
Here is video of Sarah and Todd showing Bristol how to shoot

WOW Sarah is pretty darn good with a gun there. I am like Bristol, I have NO Clue how to shoot but it would be fun to learn how
But where is my show? Where is “Tuckrdout’s Montana”?
The promo’s that have been running look pretty good. I’ll sure be tuning in.
It does. I have the TiVo all set. I will compare her show to “The Last American Cowboy”; which shows our rancher’s trying to eek out a living here in Montana.
Hope they sell the programs as a set after it’s on TV.
Shall I suggest it to her? ;~)
I hope she does mention Alaska may be a tad bit too harsh for some people to just drop what they have and decide to move here.
Every year I hear about a disaster of families living in tents, trailers, going bust, families that fall into despair, drinking, drugs or violence.
Thats the bitter reality that we do have here unfortunately, just recently was a family killed by fire and smoke north of Willow, there were no immediate services of fire equipment nearby. It was a trailer fire.
People conditioned to rely upon services to save them like crying for Underdog just don’t make it here. I hate to say this over and over but its the undeniable truth, its tougher in Alaska.
Anchorage could be called a safe haven town but arguably even living there takes its toll with extremely high rents.
Heh, “Don’t retreat, just reload”. I like that!
I’m seriously considering making AK my next home. The only major obstacle is the low demand for IT workers, particularly with high levels of experience.
The cost of living is also an issue, as is my wife’s hothouse nature (grew up in the tropics).
We been in Ak close to 20 years, Eagle 10 years. When we first came to Eagle hated the place, hated the kooky, low life, dysfunctional Whites that tend to be drawn to rural Alaskan communities; where no law enforcement exits, ha ha. You figure out pretty quick the user, losers and the people who are straight up. You get to figuring out the Indians who actually are better than many of the Whites, but suffer immensely from alcohol and it's social condition. Life gets pretty good for the family and you realize that nothing will ever drive you outta this Country and it's unlimited freedom. Freedom like I've never experienced anywhere else in America; man I luv Alaska; but I'm also glad the minus 65 only lasts a couple weeks too, ha.
But ya know, I had pretty good local neighbors back east in Crawford Co Pa. I've never met any Alaskans I could trust as much as the neighbors I had back there. I think the reason was that the people there had lived around the same families for 150 years, not that way in Alaska. It was the govt & control & taxes & regulation & urban sprawl & the pressure that was forever haunting me back east that makes me appreciate Alaska so much. Never had any desire to head back east and never will.
Most important aspect of being successful in Ak is like anywhere; decent employment. Ain't many living off the land nowadays; hungry country.
I think Ted Nugent needs to do a new song, something about Alaska, Mama Grizzlies, and mooseburgers.
Computer’s HVR locked and loaded. Happily, Sherlock isn’t on this week, so I won’t be flipping back and forth.
It IS fun, you’d like it. ;D
They lied! I'm shocked, shocked! that Levi and the lamestreamers would bear false witness against Sarah Palin... /sarc

Yeah, Wisconsin and the UP are second and third on that list, especially after what you guys did to your state gov’ts.
Pleasssse DO!
No TV here and was wondering if this show will be on DVD. I hope/pray it will be. I would so love to see this! I'm drooling over the photos as it is.
