He doesn’t care about the country, only about himself and how much money he can make on the book and speaking tour.
WaPo knows Zero pretty well. Play to his narcissism. Kiss a little booty while you're telling him he's a loser.
I’m speechless. Wonder what is REALLY going on behind the scenes?
“Indeed, we were among those millions of Democrats, Republicans and independents who were genuinely moved by his rhetoric and purpose. Now, the only way he can make real progress is to return to those values and to say that for the good of the country, he will not be a candidate in 2012.” (from the article)
I am really shocked.
...and for that matter, WHAT Republicans were genuinely moved by his rhetoric and purpose?
It’s much more likely WaPo will be supporting Obama in 2012 than still calling on him to not run again. I’m booking marking this article, it might be fun to post a link to this at the WaPo website when they endorse him in 2012.
Never mind kids- it’s NOT a WaPo editorial- it’s a piece written by Pat Caddell and Doug Schoen that was published in WaPo.
Sorry- I got excited there for a second.
It seems that Washington Post wants Obama to sacrifice himself politically by doubling down on us during the rest of 2 years in his regime. I think that he hates this country enough to do just that.
Exactly. Slick recently campaigned for candidates who supported the beast. He's probably behind this and is working hard doing other things behind the scenes for her attempt to unseat the messiah. I remember how critical Ted Kennedy was of Jimmy Carter in the 1980 campaign; if this is anything like that it's going to be fun to watch.
Obama will never admit he’s blown it. Rally the people again? With what? More bs, that they now know is bs?
They can try to throw him under the bus, but this narcissist is going to grab a bumper and hang on.
LOL!
He has nothing but contempt for Americans, and I hope our rejection of him on 2 Nov is eating at him like acid, however little value he places on our opinion. He deserves to suffer for the suffering his policies have inflicted on us.
Good point. I'm not familiar with the one guy, but Pat Caddell's been around a long time. I know he worked on McGovern's campaign in 1972. He seems a decent fellow (for a democrat) -- I almost feel sorry for him in his current plight.
Almost? Almost???
Plese be sure to always add the author’s name(s) when posting- the way this was done left many of us thinking this was a piece written BY the editors of the Washington Post. It is not- it is an opnion piece by Caddell and Schoen.
KEY difference!
Thanks!
I’ll be expecting a blue norther to strike DFW tonight.
To be even greater, he could quit now.
If he could somehow resign retroactively to January 2008, he would be Lincolnesque.
Only problem for them is how can they make this happen and still blame the republicans.
Looks like another liberal institution jumping a sinking ship.
What a pile of steaming b*&ls#it. Bam just spouted words, they had no meaning, he was reading from a teleprompter based upon what someone wrote from focus group discussions.
If he makes such a claim he instantly becomes a lame duck and powerless. How long before they call for him to resign, "for the good of the country?"
Yes, rumors are out, Bam will be lucky to survive this term. The Demo establishment knows that if Bam is their guy, they are toast. Their best hope is the Repubs screw up and try to run Bam out of office, that way they can keep the black vote. Right now I would say the Demos are in a world of hurt.
