CAIR said Muslims who object to full-body scans for religious reasons should know their rights if they are required to undergo a pat-down, including asking for the procedure to be done in a private place. In addition, CAIR offered a special recommendation for Muslim women who wear a hijab, telling them they should tell the TSA officer that they may be searched only around the head and neck.

Guess they stay home ...
I will buy one
LOL
sounds like a punch line to a joke
So does this mean that the KKK can now fly in full garb?
There is no right to fly so if you don’t submit to the scans or to the full pat down you just don’t get on the air plane....next.
Now what to women have that men don’t?
I’ll take “uterus bomb for 1000”, Alexia.
I haven’t seen anyone comment yet on this part...
It also states: Instead of the pat-down, you can always request to pat down *your own scarf*, including head and neck area, and have the officers perform a chemical swipe of your hands.
This part to me is the most offensive. What would happen to me if I offered to pat myself down?
LMAO!!!!
I think that the pat down regime is ludicrous, but as long as the pat down is the security measure we’re employing, any body part that isn’t patted down doesn’t get on the plane. So, the head and neck pat down only applies to heads-in-a-jar from Futurama.
The perverts watching you would get real excited?
At least 99% of all terrorist attacks are done by Muslims. For a summary of the past several years, plus up-to-date daily attacks, see www.thereligionofpeace.com
Given this information, it would make sense to ban Muslims from all U.S. airports, much the same as Saudi Arabia bans non-Muslims from their holy cities of Mecca and Medina. This would render the long security lines and most TSA personnel unnecessary, while at the same time making our country far more secure against Muslim terrorist attacks.
Muslims could not fly to the U.S., since they would be banned at our airports. Muslims could not fly inside the U.S. either. An exception could be made for those Muslims who wish to permanently leave the U.S., so they could get on a plane at JFK, etc. and never return.
Also, mosques and sharia law should be outlawed here, much as the practice of any religion other than Islam is banned in Saudi Arabia. Muslims should be banned from service in our government, and (to be redundant) banned from immigrating into the U.S.
Lets write to our Congressmen and recommend legislation.
Exactly right.
I don’t remember any law that forces women (or guys, for that matter) in hajibs to fly.
Those folks can choose to fly, or they can choose to listen to CAIR. But they can’t choose which rules they have to follow and which ones they can blow off.
Well, at least in Oklahoma they can’t.
We call them Scarves here....I suggest body cavity searches for anyone wearing any kind of clothing that hides the face.
Then they can walk. Thanks NorwegianViking.
Strip search the b!tches. Other than the Unabomber and Tim McVeigh, the VAST majority of terrorists in the last 30 years are more likely to have names like Mohammed Mohammed Mohammed than they are to have a name like Alexander Smith. Walks, talks, dresses and worships like a terrorist(Muslim), must be a terrorist(Muslim).
It’s all BS. It makes my stomach belch acid to think these interlopers have done this to us. wear a hijab indeed. Are you stupid?
Sometimes I think those dope smokers in the ME sat around and dreamed up a way of terrorizing us into being forced on our knees (facing Mecca) as we are scanned. Think about it. The shoe bomber forced us to take off our shoes, a muslim custom before praying. The panty bomber is going to force us to dress defensively, modestly to make up or try to preserve some semblence of privacy. What a bunch of garbage.
Try 'rectal bomb.' Already been used. Oh, and nude-o-scopes as I understand don't detect items in cavities.
