Getting Obama to focus on anything other than politics is like asking your car salesman to fix your transmission.

It is beyond his comprehension.

Jindal has criticized the administration in the past over the spill, but that he would do so at the outset of his book suggests he wants to raise his national profile — and perhaps seek national office.

Politico makes this sound like a purely political move on Jindal's part rather than an accurate portrayal of history.

Bobby Jindal hammers Barack Obama in new book

A new book means that we can add Jindal to the list of 2012 candidates as well.

Jindal garners high approval ratings

Sixty-three percent of the voters surveyed approved of Jindal, a Republican who’s been in office since 2008 and is running for re-election next year.

President Barack Obama had far less support from voters in the poll, with 37 percent saying they approve of him.

Jindal in 2010 refused to endorse Senator Vitter, who defeated the Democrat Charlie Melancon by a larger percent than Jindal won in 2007.
