Politically Incorrect Parenting Presents: 5 Reasons Little Boys and Girls Are Not Progressive “Its”
NewsReal Blog ^ | 11/11/10 | Rhonda Robinson

If you can remember watching the first man walk on the moon, you probably can remember when boyish antics and energy was washed away with dismissive statements such as “boys will be boys.” But then, that was a long time ago, back when boys and girls were expected to actually be different.

Did that last statement “boys and girls were expected to…” echo in the back of your mind, leaving you with a feeling of uncertainty and doubt? Is that why girls and boys are different, simply because we expected them to be? That’s the feminist theory.

We now have a generation of parents that have been raised on a steady diet of this concept for so long, that some consider it to be cruel to label a child as a boy or girl—other’s have gone so far as to keep the child’s gender a secret and raise “it” without a gender.

In a newspaper interview a Swedish couple stated that their decision was rooted in the feminist philosophy that gender is nothing more than a social construct.

‘We want Pop to grow up more freely and avoid being forced into a specific gender mold from the outset,’ Pop’s mother said. ‘It’s cruel to bring a child into the world with a blue or pink stamp on their forehead.’

‘Girls are told they are cute in their dresses, and boys are told they are cool with their car toys. But if you give them no gender they will be seen more as a human or not a stereotype as a boy or girl.’

One girl was called Jean Marie
Another little girl was Felicity
Another little girl was Sally Joy
The other was me, and I’m a boy

My name is Bill, and I’m a head case
They practice making up on my face
Yeah, I feel lucky if I get trousers to wear
Spend evenings taking hairpins from my hair

chorus:
I’m a boy, I’m a boy
But my ma won’t admit it
I’m a boy, I’m a boy
But if I say I am, I get it

>feminist philosophy that gender is nothing more than a social construct.

If true, then the same can be said feminism, macho-ism and all of the other isms.

I pity the children of such dimwits.

Only hermaphrodites are human?

... give them no gender they will be seen more as a human or not a stereotype as a boy or girl.

This statement is blatantly false as many studies have shown and the word is "sex", not gender.

In this case, they seem to be using “gender” correctly, to denote philosophical circumstances independent of the child’s physical sex. “Gender” in grammar, after all, is a characteristic that is unrelated to the physical qualities of a fork, a chair, or a wall.

Numerous tests have been done to see if young boys would prefer playing with what are considered girls toys and girls playing with what are considered boys toys. Without any prompting or encouragement both sexes preferred to play with toys normally associated with their sex. For example young boys given small dolls and baby carriages to play with would use the carriages as catapults to launch the dolls to the other side of the room. Sex and gender preferences are hard-wired. The modernist fools who pretend otherwise are deluding themselves.

"A Swedish couple stated that their decision was rooted in the feminist philosophy that gender is nothing more than a social construct ... ‘It’s cruel to bring a child into the world with a blue or pink stamp on their forehead.’ "

Amazing how foolish some lefties are, and how damaged their children might become. I have no doubt that this child will be an only child.

I recall a true story in a Christian parenting magazine a few years ago, for everyone's amusement.

A girl raised "gender-neutral," who also had a gender-neutral name, turned 10 and was allowed to have her first sleep-over with a friend. The child was normal in all respects but being a girl was never stressed; no princess motifs, no frilly dresses, no dresses at all in fact. The parents were very casual but firm about it. The girl's mother dropped her off and the friend's house and told the second Mom, "call me if you have any problems."

The next morning, the Mom came to pick up her child, and asked Mom2 how things went. Mom2 observed that everything was fine, but there was one curious observation she made that didn't seem necessary to call about. "My daughter always liked dress-ups when she was younger, and while she's outgrown them she still keeps them in a special place in the closet. Your daughter spent the entire evening clutching these dresses and constantly looking at herself in the mirror holding them up." N

Boys and girls are the same? My foot. Anyone who's raised more than 2 children can see through that falsehood.

I don’t seem to be able to go to the link, it says the article is not there. At any rate, these people are crazy, and how sad that they have children, who are going to be completely and totally confused when they grow up. I feel just terrible for the kids.

‘It’s cruel to bring a child into the world with a blue or pink stamp on their forehead.’

It's not their forhead that makes it an issue

Wow. I can believe that. I say, they are robbing these children of a vital part of their childhood.

According to Marxist we are all Borg. We celebrate our ‘differences’ by becoming exactly the same biology not withstanding.

This is why we have a whole generation of effeminate men and aggressive, manly women running around the planet. I feel sorry for the children of conservatives sometimes(like my son). It’s so hard for them to find traditional mates. Many of the girls my son’s age are hard edged and aggressive, with few remaining feminine attributes...and don’t even get me started on some of the men in his generation. It is equally hard for traditional females to find a ‘real man’ too.

Very sad. Liberals screw up everything they touch.
