Wasserman Schultz Named Top Jewish Leader (O RLY?)

I went by early voting in Plantation a week or so before Election Day and bumped into U. S. Rep Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

Even thought she had a safe Democratic district and a nominal opponent, Wasserman Schultz wasn’t taking anything for granted.

That’s Wasserman Schultz: Energetic, dedicated and filled with ability.

With her flashy blonde Brillo hair and her articulate devotion to liberal causes, she is the Florida pol who drives conservatives batty. She’s the member of Congress that the Tea Party crowd loves to hate.

And she is the most prominent Jewish pol in heavily-Jewish Florida.

Now “Forward”, the most prominent Jewish newspaper, has named her one of the Forward 50 top Jewish leaders…once again.

Wasserman Schultz has been rightfully given this honor at least two times in the past.

Wasserman Schultz won her district 60% to Karen Harrington's 38%. A comfortable margin, but the closest this liberal nut has ever had. Pelosi's poodle Wasserman WAS out campaigning...she was nervous for sure.

Unfortunately the Manischewitz Mafia that run Fort Frauderdale and the Broward County Corruption, er...Commission, also control the purse strings and dirty tricks squad and deter any candidate the wants to run against her down here. Like any black candidate in an urban district, she'll likely hold the seat for life. Fortunately, like the urban reps, she's full of bluster and can't resist the chance to be on television, but actually has very little in the way of sway or power at the state or federal level.
