I highly recommend both of these books. Naipaul is one of my favorite authors. The one thing he is not is politically-correct.
But he and Paul Theroux got in a pissing contest (Theroux actually wrote a book about it), and since Theroux is on my short list of favorite authors, Naipaul is on my do not touch with, along with movies with Woodie Allen.
He is not PC and readaable
I must say that after reading these books one has a very different perspective on the Muslim and leftist news.
