Huffington Post is reporting that President Obama will accept across the board Bush tax cuts and will sign the bill when passed!

Bingo! Anyone with a moderate amount of taxable income is going to be hit by this: especially families with two wage earners. It's enough that mine will have to adjust our budget to compensate, and reduce the amount of debt we plan to pay off in 2011.
Want to estimate how much it will affect you? Check out this worksheet:
Right now Obama is thinking of re-election. But he is in between a rock and a hard place. Upsetting independents, or liberal base. And on taxes, he wont force a tax increase because he doesnt want the full blame again for the bad economy. He wants partners.
Onada really has no choice. Apparently even his Marxist “advisors” realize that killing the tax cuts would accelerate the destruction of the American economy. They’re afraid of mobs in the streets coming to kick “The One” out of the WH well before 2012 presidential elections.
IMHO, this is too little too late. This latest Bernaki scheme will do far more damage than than extending the tax cuts will remedy.
The door is open for the recently elected conservatives to do what they were elected to do. If I were them I would skip the regualar Congressional orientation. Instead, I would convene a conservative orientation that would set the agenda for the immediate destruction of everything that Onada has done.
We all better be watching. And we better be prepared to march—right into their offices if necessary—to remind them of their madate.
He won’t have his fun if he has a pubbie house and senate, which looks very likely. Obama’s days of supermajority fun are over, finito, caput. However, I don’t see him being re-elected anyway unless the economy makes a massive turnaround, very unlikely with him at the helm.
Do they really allow you to voice your opinion at HP?
If true......BWAHAHAHAHA!!!
I’ve been taking some brief perusals over to DU (ugh) and they think the Bush tax cuts are a BAD thing.
They can pay my share.
Not all dimwits are going to have a problem with this.
It’s actually a smart move that Bill Krinton and other Demonrats have used. After getting your butt handed to you in a midterm election, move to the center, sign legislation, and take credit for it. The media will all the heavy-lifting. It works brilliantly and is what got Krinton re-elected.
The media still reports that he did welfare reform, he reformed taxes, he reformed govt. financial management, not those horrible Republicans that want to come to your house, take everything you own, and give it some rich guy.
Ping for what should prove to be an amusing DUmmie FUnnie!
"Where is the Obama we sent to the WH??? I don't see him anymore. He must have been kidnapped or killed by the repugnicans and teabuggers, and a repugnican or teabugger look-alike put in his place to do their bidding."
Hey, this one comes with a Presidential Stamp of Approval. /s
Let’s go over to DUhmmie land and stir them up to start talking impeachment
True, but it was a planned tax increase.
"Its not spic and nigger anymore, Rangel told an audience in Manhattan. They say, Lets cut taxes."
I just got back from DUmmiworld.
Located on the banks of da Nile.
They have taken Axelrod’s non-denial denial and wrapped it all around themselves. It is too tattered to genuinely keep them warm but they are struggling to put up a brave face.
If I were a better man I would not have been so tickled by all of this, I suppose.
I wish we would stop referring to the “Bush tax cuts.” That legislation was enacted 9 years ago. We should be talking about Obama’s impending massive tax increases.
I want to post this over there, but it will only last a moment.
He may have a DNT contingency on Obamacare. I don’t trust the Republican leadership a bit!
That is true we should be calling these the Obama tax increases!
