I want to see the Creation of Narnia as the plants and animals spring from the earth and then as Aslan breathes intelligence into the animals. That book and the last are my favorites.
Not being raised in English-speaking country, my wife was looking forward to finish reading all books in the series shortly after the 1st movie came out. Imagine how disappointed she was when in his sermon the pastor in our church talking about the fate of the Pevensies in the Last Battle. To this day, she still cannot forgive that(now former) pastor for giving away the end of the series... LOL
Oh, yes! Imagine the excitement of people in a theater, most of which have never read the book, being dumped into complete darkness when they first “land” in Narnia...then the first dawn spreading, and Aslan singing.
Then at the end, I can already hear the collective “AHA!” coming from the audience as they realize who the nephew is.
And then there will be the “readers” in the crowd who “know”. I can hear them giggling under their breath at the “non-readers”.
Yeah...I’m seeing and hearing a lot. Give me a pass...my toddler son is not adjusting to the time change...he’s decided that a day is 5AM to 7PM, with a nap in between somewhere. And alas, the rest of the family won’t let me go to bed that early! LOL
