North Korea has developed a long-range submarine missile with a shooting range exceeding 2,500 km (1,554 miles).
The missile is heavily-modified version of the old Soviet Union R-27 (named SS-N-6 by NATO) and can be placed on a submarine or other movable platform.
The news comes days after an unknown missile was filmed flying from the sea off the coast of California. Military officials officially claim they do not know who fired the missile, but speculation based on recent events indicates that it may have been a show of strength from North Korea.

I’m more convinced we shot down a NK missile and it was the interceptor that was seen. Obama has no interest in people believing that NK can fire a missile like this or that we can shoot one down. The latter would give Reagan credit for Star Wars and Bush for the missile defense shield.

That logic would only apply if we had a Commander In Chief, not the current Communist In Chief.

LOL! I doubt NK can do a sub based launch. Russia has enough problems doing sub missles.

From a link at the site...
“Another more frightening scenario is being discussed by insiders at Homeland Security and the super-secret National Security Agency:
North Korea has rattled its saber againthis time with a very, very large missile launched from a Sang-O class sub modified to carry a missile or towing a missile launching sea sled.
A sea sled missile launch platform was first perfected by Nazi Germany in WWII and planned for use in the closing months of the war against New York and Washington, D.C.

if it was the norks we better hope the military is lying about having no tracking or warning
wonder if any decrepit cargo ships out in the Pacific vanished with a boom after that launch

That was no “Interceptor Missile” that was one BIG solid fueled monster.

Well, that’s it then. Thank God it wasn’t really a missile. This shows how useless the media is—this is the first I’ve heard of the section of the video where they zoom in on the object...that section in itself is enough to prove it wasn’t an ICBM, and the brain dead media doesn’t even talk about it.
