In other news, the UN appointed a fox to head the Council on Henhouse Protection.
Remember Bizarro World in the old Superman comics? A strange World where everything is the opposite of what would be normal for Earth’s humans.
The creator had a hell of an imagination.
Or maybe what he had was a gift for prophesy.
Today we are living in that Bizarro World.
You know, whereas other countries have difficulty determining what sort of rights women should have, the governments of Iran and Saudi Arabia have no such diddiculties. Obviously that makes them a great choice.
...or difficulties even!
Anyone use the Fox guarding the Hen House Analogy yet because if not it fits perfectly .
Now that’s the kind of UN- I can get behind.
Exactly. And it gives them a platform to criticize the United States. As everyone knows, the US tramples upon the rights of women to give up their rights and submit to beatings, honor killings and covering themselves from head to foot. /sarcasm
There is global insistance that women wear the headscarf by choice, not by requirement.
Michelle doesn’t look happy about having to wear it.
The wearing of head-coverings by our heads of state (or wives of heads of state) to placate some tim-buck-two misogynist society burns me up. We don’t “expect” these same misogynists to dress in American garb to visit America. American women - don’t wear no stinkin scarves.
Knock it off, already.
