I think Soros is afraid the tea party will turn our sights on him.
If you look at his history around the world, he’s managed to change nations from the shadows without ever facing a direct confrontation with his opposition. The sunlight is extremely uncomfortable for him.
And I think LR is a lot closer to the real, snide, low-down huckster that Andy Griffith really is. I think we should devote some energy in dragging down his legacy since Andy wants to see America dragged down. Good project, that.
When he's delivering his sales pitch for Obamacare, look straight in his eyes and tell me that this man has a soul and that it's still alive. What a disgusting villain.
The Andy Griffith Show was a sterling example of middle-class American virtue. All the participants have taken delight in dragging down those same values. A pox on Ron Howard, Andy Griffith, et al.
I’m sure there are those in the CIA, NSA, FBI and the IRS who would enjoy taking Soros down/(out?). They are keeping their heads down for now so they will still be around in Jan 2013!
The scandal is not that there are bottom feeders, it is that we have allowed ourselves to become vulnerable. If Soros teaches us that there are limits to our foolishness, then he has earned his money.
On Tuesday, November 9, 2010, the gloves and masks come off on Fox News Channel at 5pm EST. Glenn Beck exposes George Soros as The Puppet Master, or so he says! Beck will begin his three-part thriller tomorrow accusing Soros of being Antisemitism and pulling the strings on Barack Obama. So is George Soros the man behind the curtain pulling the strings? Or is Beck doing the bidding of Rupert Murdock?
Needless to say, Soros-funded media are already busy attacking Beck and Fox. Media Matters is trashing Glenn Beck daily, though that’s not really new, is it? The Tides Foundation has even sent Fox advertisers a rather nasty letter claiming that if another domestic terror act occurs similar to the Oklahoma City bombing, Beck and Fox would be responsible for fanning the flames of discontent.
But Beck is undaunted. He has every intention of going through the Soros story with plenty of the man’s own words and other sources to back Glenn up. It’s not hard to do. George Soros is in the wide open, always acting very publicly with plenty of speeches, interviews and op-ed pieces. A large portion of his life and operations is an open book. But some of his dealings fall well within the shadows.
Glenn Beck puts it this way, as we draw nearer to the time of the Big Event, which will topple America and the world into chaos, thus giving birth to global government, the masks will come off. Just look at what MSNBC host Laurence O’Donnell said last week during the election coverage. “I’m not a Progressive. I’m not a Liberal. — I’m a Socialist!” At least he’s open and honest about it! Even the Communist Party of the USA has a new web video commercial
Tomorrow Glenn Beck exposes George Soros as a Puppet Master so he says. The man pulling the strings of many of the Far-Left Progressive groups and politicians, like Barack Obama. Is he alone? Is Beck right about Soros’ antisemitism? We shall see. But George Soros is already fighting back trashing Glenn Beck, Rupert Murdock and Fox News Channel. Watch and learn, dear friends!

Tit for tat if you ask me. Beck calls Barry Soros puppet, Soros exec calls Beck FOX puppet. In the movie the TV personallity was a booser, so was Beck. The movie personallity was groomed for his role - so was Beck?
I also think Beck is fudging the story a bit for his viewers.

I always wondered why Kieth Olberman and Chris Matthews always referred to Beck as Lonesome Rhodes...I didn’t know the background or of this movie.
Its telling that they use it as well as Soros...
