“American hating minorities” sounds a lot like the kind of people working in the VA hospitals around me. :0)
Ain’t flew since 1996. Don’t plan to start up again any time soon neither.
Where in the world are all the “deep pocket” lawyers? This seems to be a big tobacco kind of legal opportunity.
I haven’t flown since 9/11/01.... and I won’t until this police-state Gestapo unit called the TSA is abolished.
How nice of you to decide for other people what is or isn't wasteful. And if you think using the power of government to conduct illegal searches of innocent people to produce certain behavior is a good idea, I think you may have the wrong site. You see, this is 'Free Republic'. 'Fascist Republic' is down the hall to the left.
Maybe a series of “Grope and Change” rallies at the country’s largest airports and/or worst offenders is in order. Or a passenger sitdown at the grope station when the TSA thugs get a little too ... enthusiastic ... about their duties.
lol! Choo Choo!
Many of the TSA agents are ex-military and ex-cops.
And none of the people we associate with make the policy or write the handbook.
Ditto that. We looked into Flex Jet. $1,200 per hour for a 6 seater so thats only $200 per hour per person. We are finished with Commercial aviation until this insanity is stopped. Its gotten so out of hand its surreal.
Last night on O’Reilly the 2 little bobblehead lawyers he has on all the time were just chirping away about how all of these screeners and pat downs are totally legal and Constitutional. I could throw up.
What’s the next step? Flying naked?
Back in October, 2001, I predicted that TSA wouldn't be satisfied until all passengers flew naked, sedated, restrained, and catheterized ... with all baggage shipped separately.
We're not there ... yet.
you mean “Chris”, “Pat” and “Stacy”
Yeah; here's the TSA Pat-down team from San Francisco:
It has become a sort of sick joke and I agree that we do need a review of the procedures.
Be sure to go out to the FBO at your local airport and inquire about the chartering rates for various aircraft. When you fill all the seats they are quite reasonable.
When you meet pilot/owners of aircraft and learn of their operations you may find someone who makes daily or weekly trips to place that you would like to travel to. If they have available space and weight limits, you might just fill them for a very small cost.
Thanks for the suggestion — it’s a great idea. I do a little flying myself, so it would feel good to support someone’s operation. I guess I had always assumed that it cost much more to use charter services, but when you look at four or five travelers, maybe it starts to make sense!
