Happy Birthday jarheads. I found out why they celebrate their birthday the day before Veterans Day the hard way. We had Marines in our Turboprop Mechanics course at the now defunct Chanute AFB. The Marine instructors there asked if we would like to go to the NCO Club with them to commemorate the Corps birthday and if we didn’t, then we didn’t have a hair on our ass.
