I don't understand this. Are they wanting to leave the slot open to a favorite SON?? She is undoubtedly the best candidate for the presidency.

It’s turning into a cult of personality. She does a lot of good for our side but I don’t see her as president . Sorry

yeap because someone that is so off from the american people views has no chance. I mean with poll numbers like this how can she win:

Whose views are closer to your own? Palin/Obama

Overall: 52/40

Male: 55/37
Female: 48/43
White: 58/35
Black: 5/87
GOP: 84/9
DEM: 14/81
INDY: 59/27
Conservative: 80/12
Moderate: 28/61
Liberal: 14/85

Or these:

“.....76% of Republicans and 52% of unaffiliated voters now hold a favorable opinion of Palin.”

“...Unaffiliated voters by a 41% to 36% margin see Palin as good for the GOP.”

"Read it and the article and weep."

Why would I weep? I think that's pretty good news if their projections regarding the electoral votes are correct. Regarding Palin, I have nothing AGAINST her. I actually like her. I just don't think she can win a national race. If she's on the ballot, I'll surely vote for her. Hell, she's one of the few reasons why I voted for McCain.

Frankly, I don't think ANY of the would be GOP presidential candidates getting all of the media attention have a chance of winning. I was a FRed supporter in 2008.

I dont care what the numbers say right now, I don’t think she could win and I would rather someone else run . I ‘m sorry if that pisses off your fanatical love of Palin as the end all be all for the restoration of America.

Hey what do I care.

Go with your gut don’t let facts and figures get in you way.

In fact I might start selling blindfolds to anti-palin people so they never have to see the handwriting on the wall

Here’s the ‘catch’ for me.

I can think of several ‘candidates’ who could win the Presidential Election. Even so, I wouldn’t want them for President.

If we’re just going to have another Washington ‘insider’ who is deeply meshed into the corruption of politics, we might as well keep Obama.

If WE are going to pick a candidate based on whether they would win, rather than whether they would be a good President, I think we lower ourselves to the Democratic party level.

Obama won. But he has made a lousy President, so far.

"Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee "

It goes beyond these guys. The party infrastructure is against her too.

Her ONLY support is at the grass roots.

And, that's enough to win.

good points. with a GOp house and possible Senate in 2012 it is imperative we get a conservative in the WH so that the RINOs do not damage the GOP brand again. Like you I can see several good candidates, however as of now only one has had the courage and guts to go up against a popular president and fight for her convictions.

Now that Obama’s popularity has fallen off a cliff we might get some of the ones that have been in hiding to come out but the fact that they hid and allowed Obama to transform the country without raising a fit says a lot.

this btw is one reason I strongly support Gov Palin. when all the GOP leaders were telling us to surrender Palin fought with us.

Now I like Christie on the fiscal stuff, not much on anything else, Mitt is a RINO, huck no thanks. Maybe a dark horse will come along but it's looking less and less likely.

Sooo.....that leaves the ones on the field and from them only one is a fighter for conservatives. the choice at this point in time is not hard. Maybe it will get harder as the primary season gets going but now not so much.

"I go out on a limb and am willing to face the fire."

That's cool. But your earlier post indicated you had reason to believe...at a personal level or a level that everyone should recognize...that Palin is anointed by God to be the next POTUS.

In my pinion, that's ludicrous.

If it were true, no human could know it before it happens...unless, of course, you're a prophet, anointed by God himself?

Thank you so much for confirming my personal belief that the elitist republicans have gathered together their own group of seminar posters to trash Sarah Palin where ever conservatives gather. Whenever I see or hear some one spouting those talking points, I will know that they are either a schooled minion or one of the brainwashed masses incapable of independent thought.

Before I was just going to wait and see who would run in 2012 to decide who I would support for president. Maybe I’d consider Jim DeMint or Mike Pence as well as Sarah Palin. But after seeing this, I’ve changed my mind. I’m voting for Sarah. I don’t care who else is running. I’m voting for Sarah Palin. If these clowns think they can get away with trashing a mother of five children just because they can’t imagine giving up their power, then they are in for the shock of their lives. What they meant for evil, God means for good. Every evil thing they plot will backfire on them.

May every one of those good for nothings reap every nasty bit of what they have sown.

It sure does. Those people need to stop this vile nonsesne right now.

Tonight Sarah said.

"I wouldn't do it just to shake it up," she said when asked whether she was considering a presidential bid in two years time.

"I'd be in it to win it. I would certainly have to put a lot more thought in it than what I could give you today in terms of an answer."

Nice assessment...

..and it looks to be that way for Palin. I doubt the media can do much to deter her supporters but it will affect those who are uncertain. The public can be very fickle! Still, she's shown herself to stand strong in the face of almost anything they have thrown, I suspect she'll remain so.

I wouldn't take Pa. out of the Palin vote just yet. Republicans hit Harrisburg very hard and will change the district map for that.

Interesting also, Pittsburgh is solid blue for the most part yet Beck is going there, as well as Dr. Jeremiah. This would hardly have been imagined possible before the election. Pitts-burg remains in a world of hurt financially and lots of infighting in various councils etc. So I'm not ready to say Pa. won't come around to Palin...after-all Pa. turned red!

Well that's pushing it quite far don't you think? Sounds more like a personal opinion rather than an honest look at the political climate overall. Besides..it remains to early to tell who is going to come out of this year on top. But no one can deny Palin’s riding the wave...and one which could very well take her into the White-house if she determines to run.

Coons said he would vote to keep Bush's tax for rich and everyone!

Do you Think he would have promised that if Casle-RINO was the candidate?
