I like the way the word missile is in quotes. Like it is an ‘alleged’ missile. How about a “contrail of interest” in police-speak.

all I recall of the first clip I saw was how pretty and orangeish and fluffy the plumes were.. so we didn’t see anything ..OK.

What is unnerving is that it took a local CBS affiliate to get video of the missle, while all the government agencies have apparently been playing Sgt. Schultz [I know nothing].
If it was NOT from a US military mission, many were asleep on the job.
It is even more unnerving that this could have been a foreign submarine giving a demonistration.
