(Vanity) Michael Reagan just said Sarah Palin's "too polarizing" to win Presidential election...
Fox News | 11/09/10 | Megyn Kelly

Posted on 11/09/2010 12:19:01 PM PST by LaybackLenny

Sorry for the vanity, but did anyone see Megyn Kelly's interview with Michael Reagan in the noon (MST) hour? I've searched for a post here, as well as for a link to the interview at Fox News, to no avail. He was "handicapping" GOP Presidential contenders for 2012, and essentially seemed to put Huckabee at the head of the field, and basically said Sarah hasn't a chance because she's "too polarizing."

"He may have a point. I love Sarah, and have given to her PAC...she can be just as effective as an opinion leader and backer of candidates even if she never holds office again. Maybe she could be a Senator from Alaska someday. :)

You moderate, slightly left of center republicans are so predictable. When Conservatives threaten to go third party you plead for us to stay and 'change' the party from within. So we start to change the party from within but now that's too "polarizing". Both you AND Michael 'nancy boy' Reagan can pound sand.

Thanks for the ping, piytar.

goldstategop's post #28

goldstategop, take your Debbie Shussel and shove her right up your trolling arse.

You're way behind the times, here.

How about a nice conservative that can bring moderates to conservatism instead of turning everyone off?

I don’t think she really wants to run. Look at that ad for her new Alaska show.

She sure doesn’t sound too serious about running for President.

Right now she can be flippin’ free. She is making money, saying whatever she pleases and since she holds no office, so what?, she seems happy.

No doubt she has a future doing, well, whatever she pleases.

She should run for the Senate and shake things up in DC like she is doing now get shuffled to the back of the RINO establishment bus.

Fixed it.

I agree! I just posted that I’m happy about the collapse of the center. No more dishonesty! Voters have choices now. You’re either for big government or against it.

Isn’t that what people say about Michele Bachmann yet she is highly regarded, and she won in Minnesota too, isn’t she known as “too extreme”

I personally don’t think she’ll run but will be the force that drives the winner to victory.

I'm hoping she will say the course she's been on for the past 2 years. She has built our success on the 2nd from the ground up. She knows how to do it...one or two more such elections and both the 'progressives' and RINO's will be gone - and our Sarah will still be young enough to become president...of the country she has/will be such a large part in saving.

Try to denigrate her success as they will - from all sides - SHE is more responsible than anyone else for the great shift. I don't think it's even yet sunk in JUST how successful. We all know about the House and Senate and governor's gains - but there were 682 NEW republican STATE legislators across the country. These people were found and put up for election by the local Tea Party folk! The same people will continue finding and putting forward rock-solid conservative candidates.

These people are at the very ground level in the towns - active in their local Republican clubs and committees. These quiet, unsung people are the 'fertilizer' that finds, supports and gets people elected and into the public arena.

These are the people who serve as reps on their states conventions and write and pass their states platform.

Maine was taken over by Rats over 40 years ago - it had ALWAYS been a deep conservative state. Even, as y'all know, our republican reps have become increasingly liberal.

This year saw a LOT of new faces go to the convention this spring and they wrote and GOT PASSSED a straight, deep-conservative platform. The establishment members gasped and there was quite a kerfuffle - but it passed...and new candidates across the state WON.

Maine flipped to a republican governor, and we recaptured the state house and senate.

Is was a great day for Maine.

For anyone interested, I'm posting the live link to the Platform as passed in the next post - It's a stunner. Maybe it should be adopted, verbatim, for the 2012 national platform.

Palin makes Obama look good.

That's just a bit too far, not to mention total bullshiate.

Healthy criticism is one thing but that is zot material. Though I agree Palin has played the feminism card a few times, there is no need to go where you just did.

Disgusting.

A long stream of so-called "intellectuals" is what got us to the situation we're in today.

Now those so-called "intellectuals" are clamoring to be endorsed by Sarah Palin.

We're done.

Trisomy twentyone.

That is what she “did” that was so “polarizing”.

That and being the victim of the biggest media smear campaign in history.

She is not inherently polarizing, but following Chevy Chase's marching orders, the MSM did all they could to make her radioactive.
This can be undone but requires much effort. I think that had she run for senate this year against muscowitz, she could have built a stronger resume to fight the MSM lies.
