(Vanity) Michael Reagan just said Sarah Palin's "too polarizing" to win Presidential election...
Fox News | 11/09/10 | Megyn Kelly

Posted on 11/09/2010 12:19:01 PM PST by LaybackLenny

Sorry for the vanity, but did anyone see Megyn Kelly's interview with Michael Reagan in the noon (MST) hour? I've searched for a post here, as well as for a link to the interview at Fox News, to no avail. He was "handicapping" GOP Presidential contenders for 2012, and essentially seemed to put Huckabee at the head of the field, and basically said Sarah hasn't a chance because she's "too polarizing."

I liked her line in Nevada, something along the lines of make sure the libs know we’re having fun while we beat them (apologies for the butchered quote).

Mystifying. Not Romney. My guess, Huckaboob, who also works at Fox and Huckaboo already has a ground game set-up in Iowa.

Michael likes Sarah Palin (a lot). He was at the NewsMax meet-up with her in Florida. I don’t know what prompted Michael to say this, but it’s not helpful coming from him, although it could be helpful later on, because the same was said about his father.

This is the full board “Stop Sarah” week, because she is virtually unstoppable, and the campaigns of the others are going into conniptions.

The internals and the exit polls of seniors show that they voted for conservatives because of Sarah Palin “obama’s death panels” and now with her talk of “corrupt bastards” people took that to mean that she will take on Washington, DC to clean out the “corrpt bastards” there.

Go Sarah!

I’m not saying that Sarah is the ONLY choice but for God’s sake what do these people want..

They want another terrible candidate, like John McCain. Anybody who would be any good, as President, has to be trashed as "too this", "too that", or "too something else". Huck, Mitt, and Newt are all seriously flawed, so they would be acceptable candidates.

Michele is the real deal. She isn’t afraid of the clowns on MSNBC. But she needs to prove that she can win a state-wide office before she can be considered as a presidential pick.

It would be one thing if her positions were polarizing, but they’re not: she’s firmly in the majority right down the line. It would be another if she really were intellectually limited, but she’s not. She’s more unusually intelligent than Harvard Business and Law’s Mittens. It would be something if she were of limited political or communications or governing skill, but she’s not. She’s the best we have or have seen for some time. Finally, it could be an issue if she were out of the nation’s cultural mainstream, but there again she’s not. She’s got more in common with the nation’s majority than any of our other options.

But she’s got both the Democrat and GOP Establishment battling like hell—because they think she could have it wrapped up in the next 12 months.

I’d like to know just what she has done that makes her so “polarizing” other than being the victim of the biggest media smear campaign in history.

Yep, that's it. I expect that kind of crap from Democrats, but "Republicans" lose all credibility when they repeat it.

“Palin makes Obama look good.”

I’m finding it hard to believe a conservative freeper would actually make such a statement.

As far as accomplishments, she has many, but would you mind commenting on the info posted at post 77? Thanks.

Palin is less electable as President than O'Donnell was electable as a Senator from Delaware.

If that is what the GOP wants they deserve to get their clocks cleaned again in 2012, unfortunately it will be US the American people who suffer the consequences. I don’t get this huge obsession over Romney, for God’s sake he made RomneyCare, isn’t that the same thing as Obamacare, I thought we were against Obamacare yet people favor Romney who created Romneycare. People go on and on about how McCain wasn’t “Conservative enough” yet they want another one of those in 2012, fine, screw that, if that is what they want they can have it

Taking on “Big Oil” is something you expect from a Marxist not a Conservative.

You moderate, slightly left of center republicans are so predictable.

I am not a moderate. You obviously have not read my posts on FR, which are legion.
