Or, if it happens between now and the next swearing in of Congress....Pelosi could be POTUS anyway. Staying in the chain of command somewhere fits her profile long term......if this were to happen later somehow. Say, if Congress were suspended or something...... If the US collapses, power could be anyone’s ball game.
Furthermore, Pelosi needs the security, as does Reid, for their illegal acts. You know? As sitting rep/sen, neither can be sued/tried for their actions or treason.
