The beige number with the ties down the back just screams uncomfortable. I can't bear any lumps down my spine and that would be one lumpy dress. From the front it doesn't look too bad on her.

The red/black ensemble fits her body type better; not really what I would think of as day wear, but it is fitted properly unlike most stuff she wears. It appears to be made from synthetics which would drive me bonkers as I would be one gigantic static electricity discharge waiting to happen; maybe they've grounded her some how.

Comparing her to Jackie O is just ludicrous.

Happy, happy, joy, joy!!!

The Green (Teal, err...???) Jimmy Choo Immaculation shoes are on the trip!!!

Anyone else think there are ‘hash’ marks on the box to represent how many times they have been worn?

Well, she’s lost it again. I thought that she looked outstanding in the grey & silver silk in India, but WHAT is that uglly redbrocade with flowing (baggy) black pants number all about? And the grey day dress is just ugly.

Off to Barry Soetoro's adopted homeland ...

They're cutting the trip short and coming back to America already?

Damn, did they lose the wig suitcase again?

I wonder if those are the pants she wore with the Elvis velvet jacket the other night?

I was really worried the ugly green shoes couldn't make the trip /sarc

Good grief...that dress with all the seams is what we used to call a "muslin"--a fitted design put together on a dressmaker's form in order to take apart and use as pattern for another garment with real fabric.

Any sewers here, old-school dressmakers who know their way with a french curve and a sewing machine?

This is like a joke that a designer is playing on MO.

Jackie Kennedy’s style was timeless. Michelle doesn’t even understand the concept.

So, if Jackie wore pencil skirts . . . Mrs O has gone in for easier silhouettes like skirts

LOL! I don't think Michelle could pull off a pencil skirt.

Thanks for the ping, maggief! I guess it's catty but I love these threads. :)

What’s with the macrame on the back of her cream colored dress? It actually doesn’t look bad from the front, but it looks like she could hitch a few horses with the ropes all down the back. Can’t she wear anything NORMAL???

Also, the pantsuit — she should have worn a solid color on top, and the dress part should have only been knee length. Not a bad idea, but the patterned, too-tight, too-long dress doesn’t work.
