Actually, I had heard about this incident several years ago from a Bush family friend. The friend indicated that this is just one of MANY reasons that GWB developed such an extraordinarily close relationship with his mother. [’HW’ was on the road (for business) A LOT when ‘W’ was growing up. For this reason, ‘W’ was the one that Bar leaned on during times of challenge and stress, including the miscarriage that occured when ‘W’ was 16 or 17 years old.]

Or perhaps deliberately stupid. It's amazing how hard up some so called conservatives are to attack President Bush (or his mother).

Sorry, Star, you know how I feel about Dubya, but I just find this wrong on so many levels. Yes, I get the whys. But I would never show it to a child, regardless of age- teen of whatever.

Quite honestly, I think its that generation. They'rethe realist generation to me (as evident by my own family experience) and didn't gloss over anything. While I understand that, what Bar did is something I could/would never do.
