Several yrs. ago our township did this to us. We had garbage pickup at our back door than the forced us to roadside and recycling. I don't mind recycling but my driveway is longer than the average city block I have to put my weeks worth of garbage in my car during the winter and drive it to the road where the cans are regularly dumped over by critters. It's a mess but the county made money off the recyclables.
