If gold was going up as fast as silver is right now, it would be at $1600.
The writing is on the wall, though.

At the rate the USA is devaluing its currency, $1400 is just the warm-up.
However, I believe Silver will run up faster than Gold. Anybody paying attention to AG vs AU and their ratios?

So, am I supposed to buy now since it is at its highest - so in 6 months it will be worth 1/3 less?
Geez.

Silver barking at $27.50 (27.44), rumors of problems at ATMs nationwide and also
rumors of looming 11/11 bank holiday. Lots of fireworks now that we are helicoptering $25 billion per week. (QE 2 is different than QE 1 and TARP). The world is rather upset at the good old USofA. Hope the rumors aren't true, but am pretty well prepared just in case. Hiya Blammo !

"However, I believe Silver will run up faster than Gold. Anybody paying attention to AG vs AU and their ratios?" I saw an article this morning that forecast copper prices to rise 50% with in the next six months.
Before long, my nickel stash could be double....nickels would be worth dimes in melt value.
My silver 'slicks' are looking pretty good too.

“and also rumors of looming 11/11 bank holiday.”
11/11 is by law a bank holiday. You can confirm the rumor.

Hope the rumors aren't true too. However, I'm about as prepared as I'm ever going to be.

Bottom line is that if there are no commodities to buy, it won’t matter how much fiat money or silver or gold you’ve got lying around. Food and gas just don’t magically appear on their own.

So there’s no difference between now and two years ago? Timing might be off, but the money we have now, they are printing like water out of thin air backed by nothing but ‘confidence’ in the USA. Why do you think they stopped reporting M3 under Bush?
