President Obama isolated ahead of 2012
Politico ^ | November 8, 2010 | MIKE ALLEN & JIM VANDEHEI

President Barack Obama has performed his act of contrition. Now comes the hard part, according to Democrats around the country: reckoning with the simple fact that he’s isolated himself from virtually every group that matters in American politics.

Congressional Democrats consider him distant and blame him for their historic defeat on Tuesday. Democratic state party leaders scoff at what they see as an inattentive and hapless political operation. Democratic lobbyists feel maligned by his holier-than-though take on their profession. His own cabinet – with only a few exceptions – has been marginalized.

This article, from the left-leaning Politico, indirectly confirms the reports about the Illegal breaking up. The DemonRats are definitely coming to hate him because he's make a horrible mess of their party, all the while ignoring the most basic political rules for hanging on to friends, rules JFK, Ronaldus Magnus, and Clinton instinctively understood and always followed.

This would not have been published withoiut the Witch of the East's approval. Even now, She Who Will Not be Named is rubbing her cancled hands together, cackling with Satanic glee, stirring her cauldron, and calling the klavern of Her flying monkeys together, all to eliminate the Illegal.

President Barack Obama has performed his act of contrition.

WHAT contrition??!? All I've heard is "The American people don't get it," and "We didn't communicate well enough."

Not one tiny bit of contrition.

“act of contrition”?

well, “act” maybe

His merry diwali tour and whiney “blame the republicans” stage-managed press appearances show contrition?

He is still very much connected to the ultra-left, which has been his main support. Mainstream Dems went along to get elected, and they have been handed their walking papers. He has already said he is going ahead with Ocare, Cap-and-tax, etc through executive fiat. He has NOT isolated himself. Rather, he has retrenched and is preparing to carry the battle forward, just in another arena of politics.

The Democrats have a President who is aloof, detached, arrogant and unpopular and who has no political coattails. After the election meltdown last week, think they want to go out of their way to defend his agenda? Nah-uh.

This isn’t a guy whom they’re willing to stick out their political necks for again in the future.

everyone’s 1 January paychecks will show the extent of zerO’s “compromise”

that’s when new withholding will kick in to cover the higher taxes when the Bush tax cuts expire

either on everyone - or “merely” on the sucessful, who are still being targeted by the left for involuntary redistribution

It does seem the Dem party is fracturing into a million pieces, even Politico can see the collapse and that is saying something.

If the democrat party is bullied into accepting Nutty Nancy Pelosi as minority leader (please God let it be so), then all bets are off as to sanity prevailing in the democrat party before 2012

You’re talking about House Democrats in safe seats. They are immune to persuasion by reality because they are safe from political retribution.

I’m talking about Red State Senate Democrats. They’re going to face repeated votes over the next two years having to choose between the President and their constituents. Its not one they relish looking forward to.

Rodney: “Doc, I don’t know what’s wrong with me! I get up in the morning, look in the mirror, and I wanna throw up!”

Doctor: “I don’t know what’s wrong with you, but your eyesight’s perfect!”

Rodney: “I want a second opinion!”

Doctor: “OK, you’re ugly, too!”

With apologies to the late Rodney Daingerfield, the above is what’s wrong with the Democratic Party.

“It does seem the Dem party is fracturing into a million pieces”

Just like a cesspool. The biggest chunks rise to the top.

Here’s to “enjoying”, for the next 2 years, the attempted public policy manipulations of the chief floater and his minions. Buckle your seatbelts, it’s going to be a bumpy flight.

“isolated” is a term the MSM used about Nixon shortly before his resignation. If Politico is dumping him...that’s pretty phenomenal.

No man is an island, and Hank Johnson said they would tip over anyway.

. Let obama retreat into his sulleness, with only his lefty gangsta friends around. Pouting won't get him what he wants, and his threats aren't working too well either, according to the recent election.

The people need to stop being afraid of this man, he's the prince poppycock of politics - just another liberal yearning for a Utopia that does not, and cannot exist.

Obama blew the perfect [democrat] storm. He's the first black president, which shield him from a lot more criticism than he actually got; he had the supermajority, and blew it.

All of his legislation ideas are highly unpopular with the American people.

His reign of terror spawned the Tea Party movement, which is well on its way to defeating him.

The great unknown concerning his eligibility is still hanging out there in the air, causing the mistrust of a few million more people.

Hidden background, shady friends, and dubious mentors all make up for high tension on the America scene. He got elected - by hook or by crook - but mostly by the SEIU and ACORNs "behind the scenes poll workers"...ahem.

So everyone said, "Ok we'll give him a chance." Well he's had his chance and the hole he's dug reaches all the way to China, which he's using to siphon as much money from them as he can.

It's time to call it to an end. He's painted into a corner and he's pitching little hissy fits with his double-down on the commie plots and giving America the middle finger.

Regardless of the rants of obama, jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, et al, America is probably the most tolerant nation in the world. Just look around at what we DO tolerate, and take those same things to other countries and see how they fare over there.

These people yelling all these bad things about America are not that smart; if you stop and take a look around and do an hours investigation, you'll see we're the most tolerant and generous nation on earth. We're just way too easily guilt tripped.

Well, see what all that "tolerance" has brought us; illegal immigration, huge deficits, terrorism on our own shores, out of control budgets and spending; and a near collision with socialism.

We'll never get it straightend out until we reign in the tolerance, revive the profiling, and put some teeth into our laws.

I can't stop thinking about my voting district. In 2008, my district voted 58% Obama to 40% for McCain.

2010- there are 1000 registered voters, of that 350 are republicans, 180 are independent and 470 are democrat.

Last week 600 voted in the election, of that about 220 were republican and indie combined (I acted as a poll watcher for the Barletta campaign). Yet Lou Barletta (R) beat Kanjorowski (D) 400 votes to 200. This means that approx 200 democrats voted (R). Kanjorowski, has been in the house for 28 years, a solid liberal and Barletta is a conservative tea party guy.

To my way of thinking, 2008 was a national hissy-fit, 2010 was wake up and smell the roses. Zilch has plenty O’ problems on the horizon, a good thing.
