Across the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire, congregants and clergy today reacted with heavy hearts to word that Bishop V. Gene Robinson is retiring.
Robinson, 63, whose consecration seven years ago as the first openly gay bishop in the Episcopal Church divided the Anglican Communion worldwide, yesterday announced at the annual convention of the New Hampshire diocese that he plans to retire in January 2013, short of the mandatory 72-year-old retirement age for Episcopal bishops. He cited death threats and the considerable strain that the worldwide rift has placed on him, his family, and the church.

He said the last few years have been hard on him and his HUSBAND, Mark.
Go away, Mr. Robinson. And may God have mercy on your soul.
Satan LAUGHS.
What FOOLS are these “Progressive Christians”
I thought they would be gay about his retirement!
And, it really irks me when they claim death threats.
Everyone in the public eye gets death threats, and I suspect some magnify these more than others just to let us know how horrible the “haters” are.

The FBI nabbed her a year or two ago with video of her stuffing Benjamins in her bra from some influence peddling or some such.
But he’s not sorry that he threw the entire Anglican Communion into turmoil and probably drove thousands of people out of the church.
Never mind. I’m sure that the Episcopal bishops will replace him with a lesbian bishop, or maybe reach out ecumenically and appoint a Muslim cleric to the job.
Make that hundreds of thousands. And if you count that most of the world’s Anglicans have now broken communion not only with the Episcopagans but the Archbishop of Canterbury for siding with the homosexual agenda, it’s millions.
Across the Episcopal Churches in the USA the few remaining congregants and clergy today reacted with heavy hearts to word that Bishop V. Gene Robinson is retiring.
Vicky might think he matters, but there are so few people in the Episcopal Denomination it would not matter if Vicky Gene Robinson was an atheist.

And more important than God.
