I voted for this man twice. I was not altogether pleased with his policies- frankly, he enabled an excessive amount of spending, created yet another unsustainable government program (the prescription drug benefit) and somehow managed to give out stimulus checks even though the government was/is going broke. And he refused to call a shovel a shovel and admit that Islam is what we are at war against. But at least he carried the war to the enemy. And he was better than the alternative- a crumb left over from the Clinton era, and a Vietnam War-era traitor.

There will never be a perfect president.

President Bush served honorably, and when it came to defending our country, his fundamental responsibility as Commander-in-Chief, he did well. He did carry war to the enemy, and instead of death and destruction in the streets of Manhattan and D.C., for seven years the carnage was taken far from our shores.

Once the Kenyan usurper took over, it didn't take long until the murderous Mohammedans committed mass murder here again. Nidal Malik Hasan killed 14 Americans in Fort Hood, exactly one year and one day after the election of the Kenyan Clown.

The Kenyan Clown handled the incident disgracefully, and his frivolity of "shouting out" rather than addressing the enormity of the moment has only further encouraged more such behavior.

Im sorry but for a president to come out and say islam is what we are at war against would be the most irresponsible thing ever. Even if we are, it is ridiculous to say that is what he should have done. You are using too much passion in what you are saying, and I understand that but a person in his position to OPENLY declare war on a religion of whom there are adherents in this country and over 1 billion around the world would be suicide. I would like to think he believes that, but I would also want him to engage in that kind of war in other ways than openly blabbing about it simply to pander to some voters.
