If Iran decides to sink a couple oil tanks in the Straits of Hormuz we will all be enjoying $6.00 gasoline.

Why would they do this, though? It would keep their oil from getting out...and their refined products from getting in.

Thus, they would act to block the Strait of Hormuz only if provoked. Or in association with their own (nuclear) attack on another country.

Thus, the question remains: Why attack the Iranian Air Force and Navy without addressing the real reason for hostilities -- nuclear weapons?
