Mr Bush has allegedly told friends that Mrs Palin is not qualified to be president and criticises John McCain for picking her as his Running Mate in 2008
"Naming Palin makes Bush think less of McCain as a man," a Republican official close to Mr Bush told the New York Daily News.
"He thinks McCain ran a lousy campaign with an unqualified running mate and destroyed any chance of winning by picking Palin."
Mr Bush has allegedly been disparaging about Mrs Palin in the past.
Matt Latimer, former special assistant to Mr Bush, wrote in a book released last year: "'I'm trying to remember if I've met her before. I'm sure I must have.' [Mr Bush's] eyes twinkled, then he asked, 'What is she, the governor of Guam?'"

Well...I’ll be danged. I have argued with Chet over Bully breeds and in particular Pits for years.
I think he was active in specific breed banning legislation.
I’m not sure what to make of this article from the Telegraph...I know some in the Bush camp sure don’t like Sarah but I hesitate see Bush going on record himself...which he didn’t here.
I like Sarah and support around 90-95% of her statements which is very very high for me historically and I don’t recall whether Chet supported her or not...I suspect the latter given his love on posting negative Palin stories.
Some here used to allude that he was up to no good besides the Pitbull stuff....I never knew what they meant.
But...I know Chet is lurking...no question of that...so I’ll say one thing...in 2008...he was damned good at keeping up with posting polls...and he was realistic about them while others were fantasizing in denial of the reality we faced.
so Happy Trails Chet and may the Pitbulls not find your scent ...and get bused to Sarah Palin being around hoss.

Very True! It is not like him to slam another politician especially in his own party.. Reagan had a saying don’t speak ill will of your fellow republicans even if you disagree!
I can take names anytime, but it works better if you have one master list. Darkwing104 keeps the list. He tells me when to add/subtract from my list.

Post 146, right after his pos 143, popintedly asked him if he was Chet.
Oddly, he has yet to respond.
So it does appear to be so.
And post 155 took it a step further and flagged our new as of today to the attention of those above.
