Stow flight school students arrested
By Associated Press | Friday, November 5, 2010 | http://www.bostonherald.com | Local Coverage
STOW - The owner of a Massachusetts flight school as well as more than 30 of his students have been charged by federal authorities with being in the country illegally.
The owner of the TJ Aviation Flight Academy at Minute Man Air Field in Stow and the students received federal clearance to train as pilots despite strict security controls put in place after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Some of the 9-11 terrorists trained in the U.S.
Those arrested at the school about 30 miles west of Boston are Brazilian and have no known terrorist ties.
A spokeswoman for the Transportation Security Administration tells The Boston Globe the agency is investigating how allegedly illegal immigrants received pilots licenses.
The schools owner, Thiago DeJesus, denies he is in the U.S. illegally
Unbelievable - ping.....
Details here:
This is interesting. The authorities are seemingly willing to “anger” both the illegal community AND the Cult of islam at the same time.
Just wait ‘till Jan-the-Man Incompetano finds out about this. Heads are going to roll on this one for sure.
As Obama Tours, Our Border Woes Worsen
Posted 11/04/2010 07:16 PM ET
Border: As President Obama tours India in the style of an Ottoman sultan, the gates of his own nation remain under siege. Five more Americans were killed in Mexico this week, with little interest from Washington.
How is it the White House can scare up $200 million a day for a presidential visit to India for a pasha-like caravan of 3,000 people, 34 battleships, hundreds of helicopters and loaded hotels for 10 days of peacock diplomacy but deliver few reinforcements to the battle zone our own border has become?

This is about 2.0 miles from my house (2.4 by car). I won a free flying lesson at the airport’s open house a couple of months back. I may not get to cash it now :(
Just how ridiculous is this?
Interesting this news coincides with the recent supposed bombs found on planes, the mid term elections, and Obamao going to India. Quite the “wag the dog.” My husband and I ran a cargo airline for a while and have first hand knowledge of foreign student sting operations to make the administration look good, keep people in fear and especially make HLS/TSA look like they’re protecting us. I’d like to be able to go into more detail, but the .gov has made my life hell enough over this.
Janet Nappy sure is doing a great job at Homeland Security, isn’t she?
Yes, I believe you are correct.
Just more diversions through the media to distract us from the real threat of Muslim terrorism.
There was a radio ad for a flight school broadcast as part of the Cocoa Beach air show recently. It said world-wide demand for pilots is 23,000 new ones per year to cover expanding fleets as well as retirements. That number seems way high but might help to explain why so many foreign students are coming to American flight schools - legally or otherwise.

LOL. Yeah, that’s why my highly experienced jet pilot husband can’t find a job, his colleagues are switching to other professions, and his First Officers couldn’t afford to feed or house themselves.
Foreign students train in the United States because of cost. Aviation fuel is much cheaper here. So is aircraft rental. Our airspace, air traffic control, landing and navigation facilities are far superior to other locations. There are many flight schools, mostly in Florida, whose entire student body is foreign students.
