Ex-President George W. Bush rips wisdom of Barack Obama, Sarah Palin and John McCain to friends
WASHINGTON - Two years of retirement haven't dulled George W. Bush's political zest - and President Obama and Sarah Palin are among his under-the-radar targets.
The 43rd President has told friends the ex-Alaska governor isn't qualified to be President and criticizes Arizona Sen. John McCain for putting Palin on the 2008 GOP ticket and handing her a national platform.
"Naming Palin makes Bush think less of McCain as a man," a Republican official familiar with Bush's thinking told the Daily News.
"He thinks McCain ran a lousy campaign with an unqualified running mate and destroyed any chance of winning by picking Palin."

Who is also a mind reader!
Clinton + Bush 1 + Bush 2 = current mess. All the above should shut their traps.
ain’t buying it.
not W’s style
I despise all the bastids.

Agreed. He’s got a multigenerational family legacy of GOP Establishmentarianism vs. Reaganesque insurgencies. (People forget Poppy’s contraposition to Reagan up until he became his running mate.)
The Bush family now apparently holds out some Jeb delusion for 2016, which doesn’t bode well for their support of the party candidate in 2012. More to the point, W apparently finds it abhorrent to speak out in any manner against a Marxist from the other party in the White House, but trash his own party’s likely future president? No problem!
Well, for two days since the election, the Libs have been trying hard to figure out what they can blame on Bush again. All in order to try and weaken the GOP. Finding it scary that Palin might become a candidate for 2010, they are slinging at her now by claiming that Bush didn’t think she was qualified, and McCain made a mistake picking her. They think they wounded two birds with one stone with this article, which is probably phony. And, be sure, if Obama does not run for a second term, it will be blamed on you-know-who.
If it is a lie... then Bush had better say so loudly and damned soon... or it will be true... because in politics... perception is reality. My bet is that he did say it and with Laura’s epiphany that she is a pro abort liberal... nothing about the Bush’s would surprise me. We shall see... tick tick tick.

The bad pick to run was McCain.
B.S. This is totally out of character.
If he does not quickly deny these charges... then Bush said it.

Sarah Palin has pulled the rug out from under the Establishment Republicans. Republicans made historic gains in the House and not only are Dems running scared but so are the Washington insiders. George Bush is gaining in popularity again and I bet this book will boost him even more. What better way to stir the pot than to pit these two against eachother using the same kind of journalism as the National Inquirer?
Again, the main source is anonymous who “knows how GWB thinks”........okay
Making way for RINO Jeb to run. Jeb the RINO will enter the race as the establishment standard bearer. To run angainst Hillary. If he said all these things -- and it's not clear from THIS article that he said anything at all -- then Jeb is the reason. Correct.
I'm detecting an image in my crystal ball. A bald man...pudgy...with glasses...ah, it's becoming clearer now:
Every single week, Gov. Palin and C. ODonnell took on Obama and the corrupt DNC.
Meanwhile, Rove attacked the GOP-election-chosen candidate.
In the end, she won independents. Repubs were led away from her
by Rove and his employer.
She would have been Senator TODAY (not January 2011)
had not backstabber Rove attacked, and attacked, and flayed.
Go Mitt. Go Mitt. Go Mitt.
Rove has made no secret of his support for Romney as McCains VP.
“Sarah Palin was the ONLY reason I voted for McCain. Palin is more qualified than any Bush was or ever will be. I always despised the Bushs. The whole clan are a bunch of New England blue-blooded elitist mushy moderate yankee pukes. They disgust me almost as much as that pathetic and cowardly abortionist named Mitt Romney”.
Great post. Now I don’t have to. Well, sorta anyway. Thanks
I like W, but he certainly surrounded himself with a lot of lying, back-stabbing, tell-all-book-writing sh*theads. It matters who you surround yourself with. Barry surrounds himself with anti-American left-wing fanatics and muslims.
Jorge surrounds himself with a bunch of Karl Roves.
One good thing you can say about Karl Rove, he's not an anti-American left-wing fanatic or muslim.
But that's the only good thing you can say about him.
Really . . . Bush has a new book, but this doesn't come from there.
It's from some "anonymous source".
I hope the writer got multiple source verifications, because if not, there could be libel involved.
And another thing those RINO’s that conspire or stand with those that want to stop Sarah...I am NOT with THEM.
The hell with THEM!
She’s more qualified than B0 and like President Reagan, Sarah will make the necessary and correct appointments to get the job done right...
...she has the correct philosophy and is the real deal.
Hardly anything McLame could do would make ME think less of him...
