Ex-President George W. Bush rips wisdom of Barack Obama, Sarah Palin and John McCain to friends
WASHINGTON - Two years of retirement haven't dulled George W. Bush's political zest - and President Obama and Sarah Palin are among his under-the-radar targets.
The 43rd President has told friends the ex-Alaska governor isn't qualified to be President and criticizes Arizona Sen. John McCain for putting Palin on the 2008 GOP ticket and handing her a national platform.
"Naming Palin makes Bush think less of McCain as a man," a Republican official familiar with Bush's thinking told the Daily News.
"He thinks McCain ran a lousy campaign with an unqualified running mate and destroyed any chance of winning by picking Palin."

IOW, bull squeeze.
Latimer’s the safest bet.
I like W, but he certainly surrounded himself with a lot of lying, back-stabbing, tell-all-book-writing sh*theads.
You know nothing.
This must be the MSM and dem tactic for 2012. Create a war in the GOP to split the party.
If we are smart, we will wait for GWB to weigh in and not fall prey to anonymous sources.
Were it not for Palin, McVain would have been humiliated at the polls, not just defeated.

My thoughts exactly! She’s the only thing that saved him from looking like a complete loser and has-been.
I doubt it. My first clue that this is strictly a “hit piece”, is in the title. There is a big difference between “Ex-President” and “Former President”
Sarah Palin is going to be one of our greatest Presidents if she runs.
When it comes to ‘not ready’ whatever that means in light of President No. 44, does Bush ever reflect on his own desire to drive us into bankruptcy? If not for the spending proclivities on Bush and the Republican boys in the Congress, we might have been spared the last two years.

Exactly: Just as President Bush and Sarah Palin are being viewed more favorably (than BO) by the American people - this is concocted to divide and deride.
It just happened on this thread!
sounds like they're trying to drag G.W. Bush back into the fray... since they've been unsuccessful at advising the American people that everything that's happening is Bush's fault.
Heck... Obambi's even blaming Clinton for the present Democratic Party loses.
Ergo, we don't even know if Bush said this or even thinks this.
And who is the unnamed source? A RINO? Nobody at all?
This explains Rove’s behavior...
I’m not a big Palin fan but she brought more votes than she cost.....and thats what a good pick will do
if not for judges..Bush’s time in office would be a complete failure...why would anyone take political advice from him
I don’t buy it when they start with “he told friends”... Did the conversation even occur? Who are these friends? How long ago? Has he changed the opinions since then?
Read the article - I don’t see any named sources, do you? I have a feeling the only source from this article was a part of the reporter’s anatomy only visited by a doctor with a flashlight.
I went to the link and read the entire article. There’s not a single quote in the entire thing. It’s all this or that person’s “read” on what Bush thinks or supposedly said.
I’m sick of bush rove frist lott graham etc.
I doubt Bush would say that, especially because of what his father went through by choosing Dan Quayle as a running mate.

Attributing this to an anonymous “Republican official” makes it a non-story. Anyone can make up a story attacking Sarah Palin, and they have. Apparently, the old moss backs in the GOP are scared spitless of her and the TEA Party. It serves them right for being “Democrat Lite” all these years.
