A very good guy and I have always liked him. I would vote for Kasich for Pres. His only problem may be he is a little too modest and self effacing i.e. he is not an ego maniac. He is 180% of the imperious Mugabe-in-training muslim.
He strangled one horrible boondoggle before he even took office. Not a bad start.
Or, Kasich - West?
Buckeyes have elected a good man. The whole state looks rosier.
It starts with a left hook.
We were fortunate, indeed, to have elected John Kasich. Another Strickland term would have finished off Ohio.
Even at 7$ gasoline, automobile transportation is more efficient when construction, maintenance, and operating costs are figured in.
Talk about a shellacing: Because of the landslide victory in Ohio, the redistricting commission here gets 4 Republicans and only 1 Democrap.
This is the man who balanced the budget in the 90’s. He can bring the GOP back to the Contract with America.
Ding-dong the rail is dead.
I voted for Kasich, and I had the opportunity to be at a rally for him, and even to ask a question of him in that forum. He’s a very thoughtful...and good-humored....candidate.
I only wish he had taken off the gloves a little bit more and a little bit earlier. It’s true that he ran a positive campaign, and that he was strong on details of how he would change things. He even began fulfilling those campaign goals when yesterday he declared the 3C corridor light rail system dead on arrival.
However, Strickland and the teachers union battered him mercilessly, lying about his hatred for education.
His gap of 7-8 closed to a 49-47 victory on Tuesday. I think it was because he finally decided to respond. They closed quickly because he was a bit too nice.
A presidential candidate wouldn’t get a chance from the media to recover from too much niceness. They are ravenous beings at the national level.
