Sen DeMint is using his Senate Conservatives Fund to provide financial assistance to Alaska’s Joe Miller in his legal challenge of Murkowski. I hope he would do the same for Rossi, should Rossi choose to challenge these results (assuming that the Seattle Times is correct in their call). I don’t know if Rossi will have it in him to go for yet another recount, even though it would probably be a Quixotic quest given the corruption of Washington State.

You’re right, Washington deserves better.

I was stationed at Fort Lewis from 1980-84 and it was just starting to show up as the retreat spot for the California liberals. But back then it was still a pretty neat place to live and work. Go to the woods for the still quiet reflections given to one by hunting or go to the city to party. Of course, as one who made his living "in the woods" you could most always find me in Seattle partying, unless it was Elk season. So to me, it's a real shame to see it go the way of Southern Kalifornia.
