There are a lot of people here on FreeRepublic who are easily led around by the nose by the media. They claim they don't trust the media, but then fall for every lying word they see printed.

I really don't know how many of them are real Freepers and how many of them are dem operatives trying to pretend to be Freepers.

Good point, McGavin999. These are very emotional times, and I, for one, don’t take any of the tripe from the alphabet “news” whores, or apeeee as serious news. But, you are right, also, the crooked bastards yank our chains. Cautious Optimism is the word of the day.
