Boehner had better listen. The GOP needs the Tea Party, but the Tea Party does not need the GOP.

“Constitutional conservatives deserve a loud and clear voice in leadership!”

Yes but not the Church Lady.

Why does anybody even listen to Boehner?

Methinks the GoP leaders and Obama both suffer from the same thing Boehner earlier said Obama is suffering from about now, denial, of the voters in this historic election ..

Without folks like Michelle and TEA Party voters and activists, Boehner could well be out on the street in January too.. and maybe will be yet.. in ‘13. ;-)

Same old same old.

Field hands and simple conservatives should know their proper place, and not get uppity.

Boner is about to find out exactly why his career was just resuscitated. It was not due to RINO enthusiasm.

Bachmann drug your dead ass across the line on Tues. I don’t see people in far off districts clambering for Boehner at rallies.

The “fogies” will push hard the idea that chairmanships should solely be based on seniority, and the Tea Party should be marginalized as soon as possible, so they can go back to business as usual.

This means that the Tea Party candidates will have to be very stubborn to get their due, especially right at the start, when committee chairmanships are determined, especially of the Rules, Appropriations and Ways and Means committees.

The fogies know that if they can exclude them from the leadership and those three committees, the Tea Party will be impotent, and the RINOs will rule alongside the leadership that lets them.

Dumb, dumb, dumb. Boehner should be glad she isn’t running for the top spot.

Well, this is AP. Maybe it’s disinformation.

Self-proclaimed tea party leader Michele Bachmann's bid for a top Republican post in the House received a cool reaction Thursday from Speaker-to-be John Boehner, an early test of how GOP leaders will treat the antiestablishment movement's winners in Tuesday's elections.

The sooner the Republican Party embraces and supports members of the tea party such as Michele Bachmann, the sooner this country will be on its way to a full recovery from the madness repeated over the years by the Democrats and some Republicans. By madness I mean the lack of common sense, the lack of statesmanship, and the lack of integrity demonstrated by Republican leaders. [Democrats are evil and have no integrity to start with.]

I was annoyed yesterday when Boehner jumped up and just assumed that he was entitled to be the Republican congressional leader - with Cantor at his side. That’s the same kind of garbage that lead to the anger that was the catalyst for the formation of the tea party. Go Rep. Bachmann! Boehner needs to get out of the way or get run over. It’s a whole new game now and Boehner seems to be in denial about that.

Jeb Hensarling is as solid of a conservative, as can be found in the House.

These good ol’ boys had better wake up and smell the TEA. What the hell does it take for them to figure out that they’re yesterday’s news?

Idiots. The House speaks for the people. It’s the Senate that’s supposed to be the “saucer that cools the boiling-hot tea cup”.

"There are few who have done as much for the Republican team as Jeb,"

I find it odd then, that I don't remember even hearing his name before.

Boehner has his head up his nether regions.

Michele Bachmann was being very modest hinting at a run for the #4 House leadership position, when there are so many people out among the populace that want her to run for the #1 House position, the Speaker of the House.

I hope there are enough new TEA party conservatives to out-vote these RINO backstabbers.
