GOV RACE DRAMA CONTINUES (Foley in CT - 13 minutes ago)

UPDATE: The Associated Press reversed itself on Thursday morning and declared Tom Foley the winner of the governor's race. Official results are expected to be released during the day. Details to follow.

The twists and turns of the Connecticut governor's race kept coming Wednesday afternoon. And they continued into the night, with The Associated Press withdrawing its call of Democrat Dan Malloy as the winner.

The switch came after the AP reported that its own count had Republican Tom Foley ahead by more than 8,000 votes with 98.5 percent of the precincts reporting.

...

With wife Leslie standing by his side, Foley said he wants to review the results of the election "town by town." He then wants to go over the count with the registrars of voters for each town in which his campaign detects discrepancies.

"We certainly don't want to hold up the decision of this election," Foley said. But, he said, going over votes town-by-town is necessary to "preserve the integrity of the vote count" and to ensure that "every vote counts."

"We need to figure out what are the right numbers," he said.

Look for yet ANOTHER after-the-fact theft by the Left; as per usual.

suzie-q bye-byecewitz has again showed her incompetence by declaring mally the winner, then saying it was only ‘unofficial’. how unprofessional!

but then again, this is the same bneast who made people groan by sending a memo out bannign WWF clothing from being worn at the polls, then denied she said that, then denied the denial, then said it was banned only if it had mcmahon’s name on it.

her partisianship is as unflattering as her ghastly nose.

and just as embarrasing

Count cadence count
They want us to fight for them
Everywhere we’re sent.
They think we’re too dumb to know.
They don’t count our votes.

We are not the terrorists
And we know our rights.
Our voices will be heard.
Won’t lay down our might.

ROEs we learn to bear
Bros-in-arms we are
Defending man, woman, child
Bring on freedom’s cause.

Able, agile, and supplied
Serving you with pride
United States, you call me.
Mail’s sent APO

Give our knowledge, smarts, know-how
Won’t throw in the towel
On the country, land, ideals
‘Cause liberty is real.

If I’m injured, you soldier on.
Our arms are as one
US firepower’s Superior
And we’ll have the last word.

this is the same bneast who made people groan ...

I like that new term, very apt. A combination of beast and beneath contempt.

How is it possible that the polls were kept open an extra couple of hours in heavily dem precincts.

This is not equal protection!

OK... now Malloy is ahead by 565K to 559K with 99% reporting. Bridgeport must’ve gotten their manufactured votes in the system.
