We all know that Hillary Clinton came close to winning the Democratic nomination for president of the United States in 2008. She wasn't successful, but some people clearly haven't forgotten about what could have been.
The Secretary of State joined New Zealand Prime Minister John Phillip Key and New Zealand Foreign Minister Murray Stuart McCully for remarks Thursday at Wellington's Parliament Theatrette, and the Prime Minister made a little slip up.
"And we, in a purely bilateral basis, have concerns about the fact that Australia has an FTA," began Key. "They’re a very important part of our market in New Zealand, so we see Trans Pacific Partnership as a very important item to be completed if at all possible. So, President Clinton...".
Laughter — and applause — ensued, according to the State Department's transcript, and Key was forced to correct himself.

I was one who long thought that she would challenge him for the nomination. I’ve since changed my mind..here’s why. It would be a bloody battle, very expensive, split the party, and even if she won the nomination, the black vote, which is the SINGLE LARGEST BLOCK in the Dem party..would stay home...in the election..

Amen! And, the best way to eliminate the Communists in the Energy and (re)Education departments is to eliminate those departments entirely. I would love to see the Dims try to argue to keep the Department of (re)Education and the Department of (foreign) Energy. Their track records are abysmal. The 'Pubbies should be able to knock that one out of the park and into orbit!
