I've said it often but it bears repeating Thank God for George W Bush.

Nice. Too bad Bush didn’t have every single detainee at Club Gitmo executed prior to his departure.

Good...we need to be upfront about it. We need to continue to apply it to these animal terrorists. George Bush took the fight to the enemy. Maybe not exactly or as hard as I would have, but he did so nonetheless, and they feared him and the military he commanded. Hopefully in 2012, we will return to those set of circumstances where we have a President who does the same after we (r)eject Obama.

This is called personal responsibility and accountability. You do what you think is right and stand behind your decision.

Amen. All this fuss made about waterboarding was ridiculous. Those people were not harmed. Our people were saved. When it was over, they still had their arms, eyes, and heads.

Some human rights experts told the Washington Post that Bush's memoir acknowledgement could theoretically expose him to prosecution, as it is seen by legal experts as a crime Bring it on Eric Holder.
I want to see how that works for the Baraqqis.

“...acknowledgment could theoretically expose him to prosecution...”
At which point, every single 9/11 SURVIVOR (ie., all of US) in America may bring a counter suit against WHOEVER is stupid enough to challenge the President’s (CIC) decisions in wartime. Why not do this on the grounds (if nothing else) that the prosecution is presenting a frivolous lawsuit against a President who was executing his DUTY!!!
We elect Presidents with the explicit understanding that they are capable of and have a duty to issue orders to protect America in wartime.
