Murray campaign confident even if Rossi pulls ahead today
The Seattle Times ^ | November 3, 2010 | Jim Brunner

Democratic U.S. Sen. Patty Murray's campaign is preparing supporters for a possible tightening of her race against Republican Dino Rossi as more ballots are counted today.

Murray's deputy campaign manager, Alex Glass, said she won't be shocked if Murray falls slightly behind Rossi this afternoon. That's because King County is only expected to count 45,000 ballots, which may be dwarfed by new totals from other counties. (Spokane County alone will count 30,000.)

In a new memo on the state of the race, Jeff Bjornstad, Murray's campaign manager, predicted Rossi will lose even if he appears to surge today.

"The varying rates of counting will likely favor Dino Rossi today as smaller counties - which have received fewer votes and which expect fewer votes to arrive in coming days - are able to more quickly process their backlog. However, the much larger number of ballots yet to be counted in King County - where Patty Murray leads 62% to 38% - means that she will ultimately prevail as counting continues."

"as counting continues"

A little foreshadowing perhaps;)

They'll keep carting in fraudulent ballots until she wins — same as Al Franken — and the law will never touch her.

Sounds like the pukes in Saddle are getting ready to print off the number they need to win.

Too bad Obama is President or we could get some US Marshals in there doing some head bops

WA has a long history of stolen elections.

Rossi has been victimized by their scheming before.

She knows that King county will produce whatever votes are necessary for her victory.

Disgusting, but not surprising, if this is allowed to happen again.

Sounds like The Fix is in.

Hopefully Rossi has some lawyers ready to go this time. Don’t know if it will make a difference, but he’s got to fight for it.

Isn’t Kings County where Chrissy Gregoire bought her gubernatorial victory a buncha years ago? sd

They'll do the same thing in King Co. that they are doing right now in Multnomah Co.: due to unbelievable levels of turnout, they'll take until Thursday to count all of the manufactured ballots and then lo-and-behold, the Dem candidate has overcome the slim margin to squeak out a win.

The playbook is pretty well perfected by now.

I just got a email from the campaign, they make a pretty good case that they can pull ahead. Murray’s campaign must know this. Keep hope alive!!!

Of course they are confident, its easy to be confident when you have no scruples or ethics holding you back from election fraud. They will get theirs in the end though, God hates cheaters.

Democratic U.S. Sen. Patty Murray’s campaign is preparing supporters and king county election officials with more ballots from the closet. Not many, just enough to win.

Actually the Gregoire theft of Rossi’s victory in the governor’s race pre-dated Franken. I realize more people focused on the recount with Coleman but when I think of getting screwed Gregoire is the comparison I make.

I find it absolutely disgusting that Rossi can win 80% of the counties and as of right now, does not have a lead.

Of the 8 counties that he lost he still managed to get 47 - 49% of the vote in four of them.

We need a law that says a person must win at least 25% of the counties in order to win a statewide election.

Failing to do so and the election would go to the next candidate with the most votes who has won at least 25% of the counties.
