If Obama ever gets his way, companies will be prohibited from doing this. That’s why yesterday’s election was important, he won’t get his way for the next two years.

I believe such a law was passed in “Atlas Shrugs”, with a rather Orwellian name.

They are already prohibited from telling the employees that they will shut down and/or move the factory in order to influence a union vote. So, I imagine Olin told them nothing and simply announced that they can not continue and stay in business.

If Ubama and the scumbag rats ever got their way, the entire country would be unionized and fully controlled by government regulation... Paid leave for tending to new babies, sick relatives and pets, mandatroy paid vacation, 35-hour work weeks, retire at 60 with full bennies, guaranteed no-fire employment if you remain with a company after the 6-month probationary period, etc., etc.

Any attempt at roll-backs and we could have national strikes and be as great as... France.
THAT is the ultimate goal of Ubama and the rats. ...to turn America into a Euro-style socialist welfare state.

Prohibited how? Even if he were willing to imprison the workers and execs in housing attached to the factory, he can't force them to work, at least not very successfully. And failing that, there's not much he can do. They can shut down the old corp and start up as a new one if they have to.
