The Oberstar loss is HUGH!

18 terms and beaten by a newcomer...proves we can do it if we field good candidates and fight hard - even in the goofiest political state in the union.

Oberstar’s bill to revamp the Clean Water Act & put the Federal government in charge of every drop of water in the USA, along with control of all adjacent pieces of land needs to be burned on a funeral pyre.

For a person who has represented Minnesota-—THE LAND OF 10,000 LAKES for 36 years to even concieve such a bill is obscene. It would render nearly every square inch of Minnesota property under the control of the Federal government.

That Oberstar loss is even bigger than I originally thought. When I first read about it, I thought the article said he had 18 years in the House, not 18 terms.

Don't any of these morons ever hold real jobs in their lives?

Oberstar was the chief Rat trying use a crowbar to force the Teamsters down Fedex’s throat. Glad to see him go.
