If Feinstein retires, we need someone strong for California. If she doesn’t, she is pretty popular so I don’t know who could run against her. If we could not get rid of Boxer who is pretty hated in California than getting rid of the beloved Feinstein could be extremely difficult.
Cali is screwed.
Most likely result is Ensign retiring, Rep. Dean Heller running for Senate.
Ensign would be a nice replacement by a strong conservative candidate. He votes OK but fidelity should matter to conservatives (David Vitter won by like 18???)
How bout Stabenow versus Hoekstra?
Hoekstra is an option, as is Candice Miller.
